Birmingham interviews, 2010 entry

I have an interview for Birmingham quite shortly, and was wondering if anyone else has one? If so, what are you doing to prepare for it?

Does anyone have any idea about what kind of quetsions they ask? I've looked through previous threads and they seem to ask questions mainly on your personal statement, why medicine, why birmingham etc. Can any current students help at all?

Ha, i just realized i forgot to answer your question!
From what i gather, it really is quite friendly and mainly on personal statment stuff, so like work exeprience and stuff

and if you don't mind me asking when did you send ur ucas form off?

Is anyone's on the 26th of October?
When I went on the open day they said not to worry too much about the interviews- they said that last year there were 900 interviews for 800 offers which sounds encouraging:-D
Do you reckon there will be anything about current medical news?

Just wondering to those who have been interviewed, what your academics are like? I.e. Gcse's and A2 predictions if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks everyone. I've just been looking at recent articles in the news about health, reading the Student BMJ and focusing mainly on what I've written in my personal statement. My interview is on 23rd October, it's less than 2 weeks away now!

Mine is on the 21st and I'm really nervous too! I've been told by a friend who just went to medical school to read student BMJ, health articles and to know your personal statement and not to over practice as then it won't seem natural!

Hi all!

I've got an interview for 26th October at 11am - what time is urs foxyhan?
I'm reallllllllly excited and nervous. No one in my family have gone throught uni apps before so i'm reli new to this and need some advice - for one thing I have no idea of the dress code for interview, let alone the tone of the interview etc.
