I asked for feedback after my rejection and got an email yesterday saying I didn't meet the minimum entry requirements of 7 A* GCSEs. I don't have 7 A* GCSEs, but I have extenuating circumstances, which I previously wrote to them about and Prof Lote said I needed 5 A*s, which I do have. I've emailed them back today, so I don't know if I'm being overly optimistic to think they might reconsider me. Maybe the person just had a glance at my application though and saw my GCSEs, so gave that reason, even though it's not the real reason. Ahh...annoying. It's too late to be reconsidered, right?

Can't do it? Are you joking?!
Yeah sure..I was a reapplicant too

    - What went wrong last year?
    - you must be determined, where did this burning desire to be a dr come from?
-What books have you read recently?
-What do you do to relax?
A lot of the questions came up through things I had mentioned in my answers to these questions . i.e- how would you deal with a patient who refused treatment/ wouldn't take your advice.
    - what happens when you qualify?
    - who do you register with? (gmc)
    -what does gmc stand for?
-what is the gmc for (regulate drs, provide guidelines, there for the patient!!)
    - In foundation years when do you take the exams to be registered with gmc? (end of 1st year)
    - when you specialise who do you become a member of (royal college of...)
    - how long does it take to specialise as a GP (about 5 years)
They're really nice interviewers though. You get a short question to do before you go in, but i dont think they pay much attention to it. I was interviewed by 4 professors and a 4th year medic...who doesn't ask any questions but did get a bit involved in conversation in mine. It's really friendly
