Well B'ham doesn't use the UKCAT, so that's not an issue.

I'm not sure what the IELTS is. Is that equivalent to our GCSEs?

They are exams for the english language! It is equivalent to the IGCSE for english i think. Well does it matter if i have no gcse's? I have the A levels though finished and i am currently a sergeant at the national guard of Cyprus!

You need 7A* at GCSE...

They type of school you go to has no bearing on your chances!

You will need GCSEs or equivalent...

You will need GCSEs unless you offer the IB, in most cases they accept IB applicants without GCSEs. However, when I emailed Birmingham they said that I would have to take a gap year if they were to accept me because they selected very much based on grades and they needed to have certified results beforehand. So for Birmingham GCSEs or (in case you don't have GCSEs) completed A-levels or IB etc. are a must if you want to be considered.

Is the whole qualification presented in the English language? Like is every subject done in English?
