we-ell. Although as of this year we are now in the same "college" structure as nursing, physio, dentists and BMedSc in reality we are all (apart from BMedSc who we see a lot) physically displaced so you only really know them through halls or societies. Which is a shame, but the reality of logistics.

Yes, but you made out that having a large year group was an advantage because it allowed you to meet more people, yet now you're saying that you know who you want to know, which doesn't seem to reflect that advantage...

I'm being perfectly consistent. I mean there are more people among whom you can find friends in your first year or so with whom you will then spend most of your time in the future. You meet a lot of people in the first few weeks with whom you will never speak again or only rarely. So effectively - a bigger pool of people in which to fish, if that isn't too clichéd.

    A-Level options

You seem very intelligent, do not get dishearted by a rejection...Birmingham medical shcool automatically reject students who have obtained under 7A*'s at GCSE. Did you beat that?
    ....moving on.....

I am currently choosing my A-Level options but I don't know about my fourth option. The current options are 1.) Biology 2.) Chemistry3.) Maths4.) Physics, German, English Literature What would you say is the most beneficial fourth A-Level to do for medicine? (from the ones that I have listed)

GERMANNNNN!!!! or english literature, definately NOT physics, show you have variety and can do other things and exercise other skills aside from sciencey-ness. also, some universities actually give preference if you have a 3rd/4th non-traditional scientific subject.

also, less and less people are doing language a-levels, so if you do one..

you will blatantly look cooler than the rest, and yer they look good next to science subjects...

    good luckkkkk
