What about your 5th one? Have you chosen one that will lead to grad entry or gone for something totally different?

Ah right. This is my second try but after this, I think I'll go for Medical Science. My friend is doing pharmacy at Bath. Seems to be enjoying it!

So if you don't get in this time you'll go for pharm and abandon the idea of doing medicine?

Yes, sadly. As I have previously moaned and rambled, I don't think I'm quite good enough to get into medicine unfortunately , but I'm still gonna give it a go! I wouldn't mind doing pharmacy, even though I really want to do medicine...but I know that's impossible for me. Maybe medicine isn't the perfect choice for me, I'm uncertain.

You have 10A*, and 4 As at A level. And further maths. And an above average UKCAT score. How could you not be confident of getting into medicine? Are you insane?! lol.

Based on past posts I would say he is a bit. If it is the case that it's now or never Swifty then good luck this time around.

i think that you are joking when you say 'perfect'. far from perfect, in fact. I'm an exclusive member of a club of 40000 applicants, so i think nothing i have to offer is 'perfect'. and yeh, it's competitive...

wee-ll, I had 9A* and a B at GCSE and 5As A level prediction and I would say a strong personal statement, but my only offer was Birmingham. People get in with worse grades and not as good personal statements... there's a degree of luck and randomness. Also you probably don't know what a specific medical school wants. So you can't be complacent.
