I have a 1st in Forensic Science. Bham told me my degree was accepted. I'm in a dilemma as I really can't decide whether to apply to Bham GEP or Oxford GEP. Which do you think I have more chance of getting into?? Oxford seems to have less applicants per place, but someone here said that Bham love people with 1sts and that practically everyone gets an interview....

Any Help would be MUCH appreciated!!!! I have to send of my forms for Oxford by Monday, and want to submit UCAS by Sunday night, so I need to decide asap!!

Hi,

I called the admissions department a couple of weeks ago. They said that invites for the graduate course would be going out in December for interviews in January. Hope this helps!

Congratulations Rosie! Just a quick post to say I received a letter too on Friday (20th November 2008) inviting me to interview on January 12th @ 3.30pm. I'll be attending the Medical School tour too.

If anyone else has the same date, I'll look forward to seeing you there!

Fingers crossed, I know the wait is a tremendous killer!!

Rick

I know birmingham mainly only interview people with 1st class honours but do they interview everybody with a 1st? I have a first in biochemistry with biotechnology but only studied biology (got an A) and no chemistry at school, although i did do chemistry as part of my degree. Have already gotten a rejection from another uni and think its becasue of the chemistry thing.
