Ive tried to prepare the best i can, but u never think thats enough.
They could ask anything!
I'm from birmingham, its a gr8 place, especially with the Bull Ring shopping centre in the city centre, which is only a couple of miles away from the uni.
If you guys want to know what i was asked lemme know.

Re: bham interview
What did they ask you? Where they abrupt as some people say they are? Do you think it went well? Why do you want to remain in Bham?

hey diya, u ok?
The interview wasnt like i thought it would be at all!
The ppl interviewing were quite friendly, they werent abrupt at all.
The questions they asked everyone were different, like somebody was asked bout stuff on the NHS, somebody else was asked more general stuff like "why medicine? why bham?"
They asked me about a situation- what would a doctor do if the patient told them they wanted 2 die. i was like-no!! But i tried to answer it in some way. Don't think there is a right or wrong answer.
Then they asked bout hobbies so make sure u say what u wrote on ur P.S.
Also make sure u know the route to become a GP or consultant- every1 was asked that-its very popular!also that u register with the GMC and the exams are done by the royal medical college.
I want 2 stay in bham because, obviously it'll be good 4 me financially, n i'll miss my mums cooking if i go away!Bham is also very good uni for medicine, so im keepin ma fingers crossed!
Hope i was of a bit of help. Take care xx

Hey all, good luck for upcoming interviews
There's no video or anything like that so don't worry about that. I had my interview sometime in February (can't remember exactly when lol) and i thought it had gone horribly, really bad, i just pretty much gave up hope, but i got an offer last week, yay
Yep they ALWAYS ask about what happens after med school, exams to get from one stage to another etc, GMC, how many years to get to wherever.
I've had 2 interviews at B'ham now (one last year) and both times they ask stuff about hobbies and school activities you wrote on your PS. Why birmingham? They asked me ALOT about young enterprise and teamwork and the significance of it in the medical profession.
It really is a great uni, i really like it, but im torn between Bham and Barts (i've always wanted to live in london) but the actual Uni of Birmingham is soooo much nicer. Lol, lil_divz, last year i came and the Bull Ring wasnt finished yet, this year i come...wow  . Its really good! Then i walk round the corner and am blinded by the Selfridges building lol.
Anyway, im rambling, good luck everyone

Yeah, the Bull Ring is quite nice. Much better than Oxford Str cos the shops are all clustered around a ring and you don't need to walk  quite as much. Plus I saw that the pedestrian traffic wasn't quite as bad!!! Should make for a good shopping life.
