My friend, another international student from Singapore also applied to Birmingham last year. He was invited to UK for an interview in the begining of January. He was made an unconditional offer 3 weeks later. The interview was very casual unlike those `interrogation sessions' conducted by NUS. The interviewers were very friendly, especially Professor Chris Lote. They really make you at ease. Do not worry too much about the interview. You will be there once they invite you over. I accompanied my friend to the U and find UoB to be a fantastic campus university. Go for it and best of luck.

hi, i'm also an international student that applied to birmingham but i applied near the application deadline. i already got 2 interviews (and leeds doesnt give overseas students interviews) and they were at very close dates in january. i would only have to fly over once...but i still have not heard back from birmingham..i dont know what to do..

Daffodils, Where are you from. You could request Birmingham for an interview since you are going to be in UK. The staff there are very accomodating and am sure they would help you. Best of luck!
