Did anybody else apply to Med Science in Birmingham? I had it as my insurance choice and got an offer put got rejected from medicine.
i've heard nothing from my other three med choices and so i'm not very hopeful. would a degree in Med Science be a good way of getting into a postgrad medicine course. I have the option of doing a BSc degree in Trinity College in Ireland. If i don't get medicine which should i take?
Any help appreciated! I can't get to sleep at night with this dilemma!!!!
I know one person (and only one, so I guess it isn't common) who did the BMedSc and got a (good) 2:1, and they let her transfer straight into 3rd year (she's in my year now). She had applied to do Medicine at Brum too and got rejected.
Anyway, it might be possible to transfer. If not then you are pretty much guaranteed to get a 2:1 or better on the BMedSc course (it's very well respected) which helps towards GEP entry. But if you really want to do med, it might be worth a year out and reapplying with all the volunteering life experience mumbo jumbo...
I haven't had any mail since Saturday, so I don't whether to assume I've not got an acceptance right away or its delayed in the post....wishful thinkin!!
Hi, I wonder if your books are still for sale as I would like buy a few of them if there are still available, thanks! Could you also give me your email as I think that will be easier to contact you?
