    MedSoc stuff!

    Hello!
Received all that stuff from the MedSoc today, obv I want to join but everything is so bleedin expensive. I know that they do a lot of stuff and need the money but I've spent loads already and haven't even started yet! Just wondering what people are doing about the 3 events, are you going to go to all of them etc?

so you aren't going to join any societies then...
Crap, it's 5th year. How did that happen?

    SSA: Done.
CBM: Coming up. Time to dust off the tweed jacket.

Medsoc exists to subsidise the societies and support them to do bigger and better things. Societies receive funding based on how many of their members are in medsoc.

As for the events - go to all of them. The hop is an awesome night out and you'll make loads of friends. The jongleurs trip is cool and if you go to the freshers ball on the same night, it makes for an awesome day (i'll be trying to go to jongleurs too, Firm 1/epi meths permitting!!!). The riverboat shuffle is good to make more friends! There isn't another opportunity like this to meet people. Obviously, do the club tour as well but, don't miss out on these events!

Will hopefully catch you lot at the societies fair...
