dont know about brum but been to edgeware road, london recently and the sheesha joints were empty obviously because of the ban but since it was a nice day, the customers were having them outside facilitated by the owners. I am pretty sure that they will ban smoking within a few feet of a publice place as they proposed the same thing in scotland a while back.

Crap, it's 5th year. How did that happen?
SSA: Done.
CBM: Coming up. Time to dust off the tweed jacket.

I've been wondering the same thing. One of the selly ones is being 'refurbished'. Maybe they're going to build an outdoor area or something?

it wouldnt suprise me if they did as thats how a lot of these places are working around the smoking ban. However, what will they do if/when the smoking ban extends to within a few metres of an entrance to a public place, how will they work around that one i wonder?

Dont get me wrong, I'm all for the smoking ban but people go to Shisha bars to smoke, it's not like a pub where some people smoke and others dont.
I used to really like shisha but have gone off of it a bit recently, still, would have been nice to have the oppertunity to do it in brum.

it might be the case but it is still a public place and hence falls under the ban, whether it should fall under the ban or not is another matter. I dont think they will reverse the decision either.
