units conversion
Hi All,
Can someone please help me to convert the following unit:
nmol/mg protein/5sec into mol/l/s ?
I need the latter units in order to comply with the model.
( If it helps: I refer you to the paper
SpringerLink - Journal Article )
Many thanks in advance

For nmol/mg/5 sec to be converted to the appropriate unit, you can multiply/divide the value of the unit by the appropriate amount until the unit matches what you want.
So to get nmol into mols you would divide the value by 10^9.
To work out how much you'd get in 1 sec, you'd divide the value by 5 (since the value is for 5 seconds)
The only problem i see is going from mg of protein to litres, since you need to know if the value of protein mass equates to a volume of 1 litre, otherwise you would need to divide/multiply accordingly.
I've not looked at the paper, but this might give you a hand?Applying for 2011 Medicine - 3rd time lucky
