For physiology i use mainly Guyton and Hall and sometimes Gannong.

Biochemistry- Biochemistry with Clinical correlates by Devlin(the best) and Lippincott's Illustrated reviews to make things simpler for me as well as references from Stryer and Harper's

OK I just found this thread after posting! thanks!

Incidentally Pocock is one of the books which isn't detailed enough for my med school's exam questions (they love their little esoteric quirks )
