I've bought a copy- but as a supplement to a textbook (I've got Baynes and Dominiczak). I've generally been pretty impressed by it for what it is, its helped me to understand/revise some of the basics of biochemistry which the textbooks seem to assume. As has already been mentioned it will probably become redundant as my knowledge increases but next year I can sell it on to a first year... and use the money on proper textbooks @£40 each!

Instant Notes - rocked for me

Hi there

First post here, bit of an odd place to start but yeah I still thumb through my instant notes biochem book now for refreshing on things. I found it invaluable for my 2nd year Biochem unit in Biology undergrad, but saying that I still had to resit it....pays to learn from a proper textbook first like Lehninger. It is very useful for revision though.
