    Barts UKCAT cutoff for GEP

Can anyone tell me roughly (or even accurately) what kind of UKCAT score Barts GEP were looking for last year?

    Thanks guys.

I thought I heard somewhere that it was slightly higher than that... (like 690).
To be honest, the best way of finding that out is just by calling the admissions office. Faster and definitely correct!

i phoned Barts yest and was told the ukcat for gep was 680 last year, however someone else told me (someone at Barts GEP) told me it was actually 720, so not really sure anymore - can't believe Barts admissions could not tell the truth lol

Well, that's just wrong. I'm on the course, I know ppl who got a lot less than 720. The lowest score I think I know of, on the course, was 685(ish), but that doesn't have too much to do with the cut-off, except that the cutoff HAD to be less than that.

I spoke to Barts admissions people and last year they gave everyone who got a UKCAT total score of above 2720 (which is 680 per section average). Do people think it'll be a much higher cut-off point this year? I got 2770 so that would have been enough for getting an interview last year but don't know if it'll be enough for this year!

I would say you're safe if you get over 700 average, just to be sure

Does anyone know what the cut off was for 2011 entry?
I just sat the UKCAT and got 665 and thinking this is not high enough for 2012 entry ?

I dont think 665 will cut it for Bart's 4 year - (Plus you need a science degree where yours is geography) and defiantly not for KCL (who you need about 700 for). I think you need to consider 5 year courses or GAMSAT Unis if you are staying with the south east.
    SGUL GEP (T - Year) - That's a 2nd of 4 years, but 3rd of 5...
