Hi! First of all I'm new to the site so hey everyone! I am at Bart's and about to start fourth year in September and would really appreciate some advice as to what to prepare before we start and what to expect. How much of third year comes into it? What is it like? The curriculum changed this year for third years (more structure and guidance than previous years apparently and we got to see medicine from all disciplines e.g. a placement on cardio, resp, GI, renal, endocrine). Is it the same for year four? Also what books do you recommend?

I'd also like to know a bit about the exam format- is it still EMQs for end of years or will we have SBA's? What is the format for the in course assessments?
