Barts GEP - term dates, health forms and conduct information
I've received 3 emails today with term dates, conduct info and health forms attached - problem is I cannot open any of the attachments as it says there is a problem with them - is this just me or does anyone else have this issue?

Yeah, same issue for me on the 5 year course too. Im assuming theyve messed up on their mass email.
Fired an email back asking about the issue, will post if theres any response.
In the meantime, I guess theres no code of conduct so anything goes *toot*

Got mine - filled out health form and going to drop at GP to get immunisation record filled in. Does anyone know - if we are missing vaccinations e.g. MMR, is it our responsibility to persuade GP to do or will occy health do when we get there?

Previous experience would be that its pretty important to get it done in advance. I think if you send back that you havnt had it, theyll insist on you getting it done before you attend.
That said it shouldnt be any trouble for the GP. Once you tell them its for medschool, they're normally happy enough to start/continue you on the vaccination course. Doesnt even need a doc to do it, I ended up having 3 appointments with the nurse practitioner.
Also its probably best to start soon, I think they like to leave a few weeks to a month in between each shot. Once you've got it done, youll just have to send in the Hep B form or (maybe) bring it to occ health, but im sure thatll be cleared up once you respond
Edit: Just realised you meant for MMR, im not sure how pushy theyll be over that, but i guess better safe than sorryLast edited by Sin; 18-05-2010 at 08:22 PM.

Hmmm - I think my GP will be a pain. I've had full course HepB but not 5 year booster so I imagine I'll need that then a blood test. I've never had the MMR so hoping he will give at least 1 of those and can get the other done later (not sure how long you need between doses?). Heaf test +BCG I've had and I've had single measles and rubella I think. Does anyone know what date the form must be returned by?
