Thanks to the helpful enquiries made by my fellow forum-mers :S these are the facts:

You're fearing the worst this early? I really wouldn't be so sure O_o The invites from the last Jan interviews have only gone out recently. If you have nothing in a month from now, then is the time to worry (perhaps).

Thank's guys but they've said on their website:

Interviews take place between December and February. A letter is usually sent to the candidate 10 days before the day of the interview

Humza I wouldn't worry too much, last year I'd only heard one reply up until February!

And the interviews may have been delayed due to the recent weather problems?

Judging by the fact that Barts are giving nearly everyone an offer after interview suggests that places are filling up fast. I really think a lot of us are going to be disappointed and its nothing but their loss.

Yeah it seems to be a trend that med schools are offering less and less interview spots but giving most of the people interviewed offers (e.g. Warwick GEP). Kinda sucks in a way because people who scored low on UKCAT but would be really suited for Medicine aren't given a chance, although it reduces the Uni's work load a LOT.

The UKCAT is not a test of aptitude to study medicine. It is is just a ruthless way of rejecting applicants. and its ******* annoying!
