Interviews for GEP entry - 2010

Afternoon slot is 12:15-4:30. So yours is probably 8:15-12:30?

It is also really painful to think we might have to wait for Warwick interviews to be over. Late March is soooooo far away!

My patience has definitely decreased this year...

Really not looking forward to that wait...I wonder if there will be any preliminary waves of offers? Like... people from the Barts one who were good enough to ensure a place regardless of the quality of candidates at Warwick? I guess that would be a little unfair though.

I was in your position last year, and the best advice i can offer you is to relax!
The selection centre is a really enjoyable experience and the tasks you have to do are not difficult.
They want to see you for who you are, and see how you interact with others. Even the interview part isnt too scary
as it is one on one (i.e. not a panel), and they questions asked are the same for everybody - nothing difficult.

So long as you can justify everything you say, and show a degree of maturity, integrity and self-awareness you should be
fine.

Obviously, medical schools cannot let everybody in, and the fact you have an interview (here, or anywhere) probably
indicated that you are more than capable of becoming a doctor. So dont beat yourself up or get disheartened.

Also yes - all offers are sent at the same time. It is quite a long wait, i think i found out in the easter hols. That was the
only really annoying bit!
