I have an interview on the 17th at 12:15! Thats all I know.
They told me via email, but they said they wouldn't be able to send me my interview letter till 2nd week of january because they're on leave now.
Can anyone who already has the interview package pm me or tell me whats in it? And if there is anything I should probably know in advance/can prepare for?
Thank you!!Last edited by cupcake!; 21-12-2009 at 05:47 PM.

See you there!
Is it definately the case that Warwick will use the information from the Barts interview instead of us having an interview at both? I've heard rumours that that particular rumour is nothing more than a rumour!! No idea what hearsay to believe anymore!Applied to (all 2010 GEM):
St Georges - Rejected after Interview
Barts - Rejected after Interview
Warwick - Offer!!!
Southampton - Rejected
UKCAT - 712.5 (VR 610, QR 770, AR 770, DA 710)
GAMSAT - 60 (I 56, II 63, III 61)
Predicted a 2.1 in Biomedical Science (Anatomy) from Cardiff University.
Fingers Crossed for 3rd time lucky!

I've heard it from a few different people who have heard it from someone else, but like a lot of things that get thrown around about applications at this time of year I'm not sure how much truth there is in it!
Where abouts in Surrey are you from? I'm an Epsom boy!!Applied to (all 2010 GEM):
St Georges - Rejected after Interview
Barts - Rejected after Interview
Warwick - Offer!!!
Southampton - Rejected

It is certainly true that in previous years Warwick and Barts have conducted joint selection centres. You only needed to attend one selection centre if you had applied to both and they were both interested in interviewing you. I copied the following from the Barts website last year:
GEP medicine interviews are conducted jointly with the Warwick University Graduate Entry Programme. Applicants who apply to both institutes will only need to attend one interview. The interviews are assessment centre formats.
However, I've noticed that it no longer says this on the Barts website. It does still say this in the Warwick FAQs though:
Q. What happens if I apply to both WMS and London Barts graduate entry programme?
A. Each medical school decides independently whether to invite applicants to the selection cente. The schools work together to identify applicants that they both want to see at the selection centre so that any applicant is only required to attend once. You will be informed if you are being considered by both schools or just the one. If you are being considered by both schools after the selection centre you may receive either; an offer from both schools, an offer from one school or no offer
I suggest you ring admissions and find out if they are still conducting them jointly and whether you are also being considered for Warwick at your Barts interview.
