**** PLEASE HELP**** UKCAT & GCSE's
Hi, I know I dont have terrible scores but realistically do I stand a chance to getting into leicester for medicine as I havent got A-level maths and also I haven't got many GCSE's, does anyone know or have themselves got into medicine with grades like this at leicester????????
GCSE's: 4A*'s, 3A's, 2B's (one of the A*'s being a shortcourse)
UKCAT: VR: 530 QR: 680 DA: 690 AR: 700 AVE: 650
AS's: Biology - A, Chemistry - B (resitting one module to get it up to an A), Psychology - A, Sociology - A, General studies - B
A2's: Predicted A*, A*, A (in Bio, Psychology and Chem) and an A in my extended project and distinction in my AQA baccalaureate.
I also cant decided between leicester, notts, st geroges and Barts (which 2 do you think i stand the best chance at?)

Hey guys!
I rang QM and they said the cut off for last year was 612 for the 5year course and that it's likely to increase this year but they won't be able to tell by how much.
Looks like both your scores should be fine. Just make sure you have a kick*** ps and recommendation.

The cutoff will vary from year to year and will be based on the applicants in that cycle - The cut off will not be set until testing is completed for that year - basically - don't worry what the cutoff is because by the time anyone (including the university admissions staff) knows what that magic number is it will be too late for you to do anything about your score or your university choices.
The best approach to take is to sit the test as early as possible so that you can adjust your uni choices to make best use of your result and to practice practice and practice some more to ensure you get marks that showcase all that natural talent! The 3 keys to UKCAT Success are Practice, Timing, and Timing your Practice.
