Barts 5-Year As Graduate and GCSEs

Is there anyone out there who has obtained a place or an interview on the Bart's 5-year course as a graduate, who has experience of whether you need to fulfill GCSE requirements for the above.

In the 2005 prospectus, there is a "special advice" section for graduates applying to the 5-year which concentrates on requirements for A Level bio and chem but doesn't mention GCSEs. If you are applying without a degree you need minimum Bs in GCSE Maths, Eng Language, etc.

The problem is that I have Cs in the above two subjects. I have a first class degree and have worked for 11 years and don't feel that my GSCEs are that relevant. However, I know from hearing the stories of other mature applicatants to med schools how the most unexpected things can be requirements.

I am obviously contacting Bart's Admissions as well but your various experiences would be helpful.
