SGUL is a good place to study, some may argue that it is just medics and biomedical scientists, which is true but I can say that medics tend to stick together (mostly due to the nature of the course: long hours, 5 years, lots of work) so this is necessarily a bad thing. You will end up with a University of London degree from both med schools. I personally chose bart's because of the diversity of the east end and the great medical facilities (plus they're building a gigantic hospital that will hopefully be ready for when I graduate!)
I don't know the SGUL curriculum at all (take a look at Darren A's post) but bart's has a lot of integration (PBL's, lectures, meeting patients from your first term, clinical sessions among others) which I think is a big plus.
