i no im gonna get sum stick for being lazy, but ur gonna have 2 get over it lol tho i have done sum research and looked at the maps but still well confused.....so i was wondering if sum1 could break it all down for me like i no theres a mile end campus and a whitechapel campus, but are these at the same place in london??
also i no floyer house is at whitechapel, and dawson at mile end, but wheres pooley?? and is it true dawson and floyer arent really 4 1st yrs??
also i was wondering, tho i no theres another thread about this so if ur 2 outraged by my laziness just dont respond lol but has 1 of the campus's got better gym and sports faciliities??? and tho im not planning on growing a beard anytime soon im planning on becomin a better muslim, so does 1 have a prayer room for friday prayers??
and how am i meant to choose between male only or male & female?? shudnt there b a dont give 2 shits option???

Pooley is in Mile End
Floyer in Whitechapel

Here it is all nicely broken down into tiny chunks for you to easily digest, rather than reading the first post of each thread answering each of your questions.

Mile end campus is (surprisingly) in (wait for it...) Mile end (the clue really is in the title).
Whitechapel (isnt a campus, its more of a site) is (again, clue is in the title) at Whitechapel.

Whitechapel and Mile End are NOT the same place, hence they have different names and locations 1 mile apart on a map (including the one you allegedly read, you could even have read a tube map and found out they wernt the same place) but yes, they are in the same area of london (again, these maps would have told you this)

No, no, no, no. Dawson is NOT at mile end, it is in fact at the charterhouse square site, near barbican station, a fact quite clearly stated on the QMUL residences webpage. Pooley (again, residences are a really good place to look for basic information, such as locations) is at Mile end.

No, it is not true dawson and floyer arnt really for first years (as has been mentioned by every current student when this question has been asked), the bulk of freshers live at Pooley, however around 100 or so are split between Floyer and Dawson.

Dawson has a little gym with some weights. Uni owned sports facilities dont really exist, but the clubs and socs are all pretty good.

Dont know about a prayer room. Dont think there is but i'm not certain.

Pick whichever you want, or neither, you will be mixed anyway.

well in reagrds to d prayin part...
theres an islamic society and a prayer room on mile end road near the library, so obv u can go prayyy there wheneverr and go to do jummah ther,,, apparently theres another prayer room on campus, just not 2 sure where tht is tho
theres also a bigggg mosque called East London mosque & london muslim centre on fieldgate street near white chapel road, so u can always go there if u wanna pray in a bigger jamaat etc
