I quite enjoyed myself
Very almost missed the train to Euston, just stepped on as the doors were closing. So I felt lucky just getting there in the first place! The new dean of admissions seems really nice lol.
Was told that we wouldn't see the rooms in Mile End and I was running short on time so i skipped that, worth seeing?
Didn't realise that we get the same degree at the end of it as any London medical school. All in all hope I get the grades, can't wait to go

Jono,
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Its a shame you could not see rooms at Pooley at the Mile end campus.
Here are some pictures of Pooley House, a past residents view:
"Hey, I remember struggling to find any decent pictures of QMUL, especially inside halls, so I'm posting these pictures to give people an idea of what Pooley House (where I lived last year) is like!

The pictures are:
1. The door and wardrobe.
2. Desk area - its bigger than it looks in the picture, I fitted my tv, computer and printer quite easily.
3. Bed and window area.
4. The ensuite bathroom.
5. The view from our kitchen (6th floor) shows most of the student village.
6. Kitchen.
I think its a really nice place, the buildings are modern and clean and the rooms are quite spacious for halls. The rooms vary in shape, mine was an odd shape, with a wall seperating it into 2 areas, but most are rectangular.
Pooley houses 9 students in each flat (apart from ground floor flats) and the 9ensuite rooms in each flat and kitchen are all off of a main corridor. There is no living room or social room, but the kitchen is quite big - it has 2 sinks and 2cookers and a dining table. There are 2 freezers in the kitchen but you get your own fridge in your room.
The only problems I had with Pooley were the fire alarms which are loud, frequent and often in the middle of the night! Also we had a couple days without water on 2 occasions, which was awful, but hopefully they've sorted that now.
For more general pictures that you won't find in the prospectus, try the student union website:

Similarly nearly all the other degree students are practically finished with exams so things are much quieter around all uni's.Bennett were you around cuz i was keeping an eye out but didnt see you!
I was so lazy to sign up as a tour guide this year but like f_debelder, if anyone didn't get to go on the tour or wants to see the uni again (including inside all the halls, lol) just PM me!Est. 1123
