Reapplying to Barts

Hello everyone!

Im on a gap year and reapplying to medicine. last year i applied to BARTS to do medicine and got rejected after interview. I really want to apply there this year but my careers adviser said that they mark down those who applied last year and got rejected. So does anyone know if its worth applying there again? Thanks for your help in advance!

If you aren't a resitter then apply again. If you are a resitter, you have to have extenuating circumstances.

To be honest, I don't really know. Barts just gave a standard letter when I asked for feedback. Second time I didn't bother asking, cos I had my Leicester offer by then....looking back, maybe its the video thats my downfall. Leicester didn't have that, and the interview was a lot more informal there, which was better for me. I was less nervous so could shine more. Just a guess though. Congrats 2 evry1 who got in 2 Barts tho, its a good med skl.........not as gd as Leicester tho :P hehe

Fundamentally, if you failed at interview, you need to be able to identify why and have a workable fix before you consider reapplying to that place.
