Imperial are pretty specific about their A Level requirements apart from your degree class - but thats probably not an issue for you.
Were you at the Barts GEP Open Day? They talked alot about the 5 year course options for Graduates too - seems their 5 year intake is quite graduate heavy, so they are well used to having us on board!
Personally I'd go for Barts - but saying that means we'll be in competittion - so... Go for Imperial! lol.
I was looking at Aberdeen, but couldnt see if they had a GEP Course, or any details of them accepting Graduates to their 5 year course - do you have any info? ( doesnt seem to mention anything to do with graduates here: http://www.abdn.ac.uk/prospectus/ugr...&prog=medicine )
Where abouts are you from in N.I then? Co. Derry girl here!Last edited by Edeldee; 28-06-2007 at 02:30 AM.

I'll be applying to Barts in 2008 as a grad... though I'm still trying to decide between the GEP and 5 year. I went there on an open day back when I was doing A Levels and just haven't been able to shake the feeling that somehow I belong there!

Finally ive found some graduate applicants like myself!
Hey you guys and girls, I am in the same boat- about to start my final year of applied physiology degree with the intention of applying to barts as my first choice. If I carry on the way I did last year i'll be walking away with a first. Not sure how they'll take the reputation of my uni in to account tho! I have shhhhhed loads of work experience in a whole array of health and care settings but will be competing with others with high grades from much more established science departments!
Has anyone else got these concerns!? I'm at UWE in Bristol and live with a third year medical student here that knows less about her course than I do!

i'll be applying....but not sure how well my app will go .. the cut off score last year was 2400... yet i only just got 2410 this year for my ukcat which makes my average 602.5 .. so i'm more or less bottum of the crop, and just worried they're going to move that boundary up this year so .. am qutie worried ..
anyways im going into my third year too, am studying biochemistry at the mo ^^

Well I decided Barts in the end guys! and I think I've made the right decision (aside from the fact that Imperial said my A level grades wern't suitable - theyre being pretty bitchy on it).
Well, the cut-off is 2400 for the first batch of interviews, and 2350 for the second, according to another thread. If anyone is unsure i'd just call them.
I dont know how I got 2760, mustve been having a good day. lol
I decided against any GEP's, sadly I'm not brave enough to go ahead and apply for them!!
Good luck all - keep in touch! All that glitters........
