Video before medical interview

Hi everyone,

Basically, I have heard QMUL, show a 20min video before the interview. If anyone has already had a medical interview there, could you please reply here, and tell me what it was about.
Also, whats the basic structure of QMUL medical interview if it has one. Like kings, has a similar style.

All help appreciated.

It's not as long as 20 min, maybe ~8-10. Don't try to remember details. Basically I just talked about the positive and negative aspects of the consult.

No real structure for interview. They may ask about experiences in UCAS personal statement, stresses about being a doctor, etc. Good luck.

they show you a snippet of an episode of holby city, then ask you to compare and contrast it with the goings on in a real hospital.

my mate told me they they showed him a bit of an episode of heroes and then asked him what was wrong with its premise.

lol! Don't worry about it, go in with an open mind and try to remember what is said in the vid, it's just a consultation - as it explains on the interview letter! but is probably different for each set of interviews. In my interview, the structure was:
1. discussion about video
2.General questions
3.p/s questions
hope this gives you some kinda broad idea...don't worry, they're friendly enough

its just a vid of a consultation. they ask u couple of questions on it. nothing challenging.
