You first watch a video about 25 mins before your interview about a GP consultation it lasts about 3 minutes

The interviews took place in the Pathology Museum and so had segregated screened areas for each interview by Group A, B, C etc.

When you get called up one of the 2 interviews come out and get you and then take you in

Questions were:

1st interviewer, re: video
1) Questions regarding the video
2) So how would you put someone off Medicine?
3) What qualities does a patient look for in a doctor?

2nd interviewer, re: general
1) You go to a private school with v nice facilities; what do you know of the facilities at Barts and The London?
2) What do you know of the East End of London.....[after initial response]do you know its the 2nd most deprived area in the UK; have you visited the London hospital and did that not put you off?
3) What do you know about Problem Based Learning and what skills do you think you learn from that?
4) Why did you choose Spanish for A Level as well as Biology and Chemistry
5) You play the violin well; will you continue it at Barts and if so, how will you continue it at Barts?
6) Tell us about this society you set up in the Student Union at your school

That was it - went quite quickly and my interview panel were at least v friendly and positive....nodded a lot and said good once or twice

Got an ABB offer on the 3rd day after my interview
