I’ve just received by rejection letter from QMW 5 yr course. However I have been short listed for the GEP at the same university.

I really don’t know what to make of this, since I always thought I had a better chance of getting an interview for the 5 year course. I’m taking this as a bad sign since the people who did the short listing for the 5 year course had to read my UCAS application, whereas for the GEP I was randomised. This means my UCAS application is a lot weaker then I thought.

I’m worried about the possibility that GEP selectors might thinks that if I’m not good enough to get into the 5 year course I’m not good enough for the GEP.

Any one in a similar situation?
