NO interview from Barts yet!!!!

I am getting a bit worried as i have not even recieved a postcard from Barts let lone an interview. Is a nyone in the same situation as me. Has anyone else not recieved a postcard from Barts???

Would it be advisable to call the admissions tutor to see what is happening with my application?

Any feedback greatly appreciated

I am a direct school leaver but am getting very worried as i have just been rejected from Peninsula after interview and all my hopes are resting on Barts. I really really want an interview but have not even yet recieved an acknowledgement card.

I've just received my Bart's postie (hurrah ) and they say that they finish reviewing UCAS forms by the end of January (so i assume that if you aren't rejected early Feb, you are likely to be offered an interview) and they interview until April. So plenty of time

thanks for replying Mmmm. It is reasuring to hear that u have recieved a post card. So there is still some hope for me. If u recieve a postcard from QMUL does that mean u are going to be called up for an interview. When did ur UCAS form get processed? Mine was processed on the 16 October.

My UCAS (paper version... only person in school to send it by paper for Oct 15th deadline!! :shock: ) form was sent off on the 9th Oct (slow, lazy school) and was processed on the 13th. However, because it was paper, it may have gone through slightly different (possibly slower??) system when it got to the university...

Anyway, don't worry about the postie. There are people who haven't received posties and still had interviews. There are people who received posties from my school in Nov. and have been invited to interview today. So it realllyy shouldn't matter...

If you receive a postcard, it means that they have finally put your application in a pile. It does not mean you are going to be interviewed

i just received my acknowledgement card last week- i am assuming some of you must have had interviews already? that article was helpful, even though it makes you wonder how much of a chance you stand to be chosen.
when you say early feb- how long can that be considered until. Are all rejections sent out latest by Feb- the ones they arent even going to consider for an interview? Hope i at least get an interview call, will feel as though did have chance to prove myself. will be happy if i do get in anywhere else (that of course depends on hearing from the others- Dundee and UCL have been sitting quiet)
guess i will just have to wait and see...
however it would be nice to know that other people are in the same boat...
