uk -> australia
Hello all
It doesnt seem as if im going to get in2 uk med this year with rejections pending......
I am a school leaver and have finished my A-levels in london. My results were
Alevels: chemistry-a biology-a maths-a
As levels:chemistry-a biology-a maths-a physics-a
GCSE's: 4A*s, 4A's, 2B's
I have family in australia, and would really love to to medicine there. I was wondering about my chances to enter medical school in australia, and also which universities i could possibly have more chances of getting in.

Yes you have a chance, but you might need to go to a school in the outback.

Hey

I was also thinking of applying to an Australian medical school or the same reasons.
I've only started researching recently but it looks like theres a bunch of red tape. I like the look of Monash or Queensland but having already faced rejections from UK med schools, I don't like the idea of spending loads of time applying and sorting out a student visa to get rejected from them too haha.
Are you still looking to go there? Have you found out anymore about applying over there?

do any of you guys know anything about practising therewith a UK degree? Are there any special req's? is it accepted?! I believe its the same degree (MBBS/MbChb)...

Any UK med degree is accepted in Australia and New Zealand. No special tests to do or anything.
