Radiology learning it
Hi, I did see a radiology board, but I think people who are anatomy focussed will be able to answer this more.
I'm a first year medic and I'd like to understand radiographs a bit more than I currently do (i.e. more than not at all - lol).
What book is good for learning how to interpret radiological images, or is there a good video lecture series like there are with anatomy that you know of?
Or even are there some flash cards?
Any help would be much appreciated

My personal favourite is Case Studies in Medical Imaging by Ahuja, Antonio, Wong and Yuen. Accident and Emergency Radiology by Raby, Berman and de Lacy is also good. To be honest, though, a lot of radiological interpretation is pattern recognition and the best way is to just see a lot of them - if you have a free morning why not go along to the radiology department and ask to sit in on a radiologist reporting plain film X-rays.
If you're stuck for access to a library, Department of Radiology, Other Resources is useful, although lacks detail."Clevinger, the Corporal and Colonel Korn agreed that it was neither possible nor necessary to educate people who never questioned anything." - Joseph Heller, Catch-22
