Not studying as such mate, it's just the process. This part of the course seems to be where all the studying over the last few years is starting to converge. The elbow is relatively simple anatomy, it's useful to be able to describe it correctly at this stage.

Cheers for the well wishes, hopefully all will go well. Cardiff doesn't have resits or vivas!!

If you study hard you can also get Ulnar Neuritis, which is bloody annoying.

The medial epicondyle is the only such protrusion at medial side of the elbow. It's the most common site (if there it's cubital tunnel syndrom) for compression of the Ulnar nerve which then runs rown to the wrist, the next most common compression point is where it goes in the guyon's canal between hamate's hook and the pisiform. A guyon's canal release looks a bit more extreme than a partial epicondylectomy.

If you depress the nerve just lateral to the epicondyle that's called a Tinal (or Tinel test) which isn't really that useful.

You need to watch for student elbow. My Grandfather died of that. Clot as a complication of bursitis. Fact. He worked at the council so I'm presuming leaning on a spade was involved somehow, it always is.
