It's comparable to a pro-section tutorial I guess. The specimen is set up nicely and rotated, with layers stripped away, and Dr. Acland talking over it. It's broken up into small sections where he gives a brief introduction, demonstrates the anatomy on the section and then a quick recap to test yourself.
I'd say it's definitely worth buying, although it may depend on how anatomy is taught at your school as to how useful it is. As Cardiff perform full-body dissection and the exams are based around real sections, Acland's Atlas really fits the bill.
You may not need to buy it, as I know there are dozens of copies in our library available to loan.
