I've been tested once for many different antibiotics. Basically, they place a tiny drop of each antibiotic in the forearm and then use a tiny piece of sharp plastic in each drop. Wait a few minutes and you'll know if you're allergic or not

Look into Monoclonal antibodies....You will be able to check out side effects of antibiotics, or actual effect on specific viruses or allergies. http://khalidnatto.tripod.com/id1.html

Of course it's possible, how else would the medical staff know what to give you when you're in great need of antibiotics?

when i was about 5 i had a reaction to an antibiotic, the docs didn't know which one it was cos i had so many, so they assumed pencillin and said to avoid it. i went to the docs about a year ago (i'm 19 now) and asked could they check for definate since i was going to med school, and he said no cos the risk of an allergic reaction is too high, just assume your allergic and get on with it.
which i though was a tad strange cos i knew about the skin tests they could doRemember, you can have it all
