I've not heard anything yet regarding an interview...hopefully it won't be much longer. I was reading the thread from last year and I noticed that the first lot of interview invitation letters were sent out towards the end of April, so hopefully we will all hear something soon!

its absolutely beyond belief, as I said, I have no idea how anyone could pay that, unless they were maybe sponsored by an employer, but still 22.5K per year is a lot to ask an employer to pay..lol

I received a letter today asking for me to provide a satisfactory reference detailing practical or voluntary experience by the 16th May. I'm still waiting for my CRB to come back to start volunteering which should hopefully be soon. Anyone know if the reference has to be for care or medical work only?

hi there,
the reference I sent was medical, but I don't think it has to be as experience in a care home should be suitable as well.
when did you send in your application.

Has everyone been asked for references? There seemed to be some confusion over whether they were required as part of the application process. Congrats on interviews guys; I have to wait until 5.30pm before I'll know if they've sent me a letter or not!
