Hey well done to the guys that got offered places! Looking forward to August. I have a meeting with the head of Medicine for the RAH in two weeks! I am so excited about that. Looking forward to all the prospects of the course and the future. It is the first step guys!
See you all soon.

Has anyone had a rejection letter yet? I've not heard anything and nobody will reply to emails. Just want to know one way or the other now :/
I got a place at Stow!

I have emailed the college numerous times to no avail - I had a couple of replies initially but nothing now for weeks. In my frustration I ended up phoning the unis I'm interested in applying to (Glasgow, Aberdeen, Newcastle and Dundee) to get a better idea of what they would suggest - all of them said I'd be better off doing higher Chemistry than the Access course, although obviously this will vary depending on your background. Dundee don't recognise the access course at all and I got the impression that Aberdeen aren't particularly keen on it. All I'm saying is, if you don't get on the course, it's not the end of the world and there are always other options. There is still time though so I hope you get good news!

I'm actually thinking of taking a year out completely anyway. It's been a hectic year and I think I need to be at home and be a full time mum/carer until things calm down.
Best of luck guys!!!I got a place at Stow!

I can imagine how you feel, after thinking you weren't getting a place. Not sure if Kenny said at your interview, but you should be thinking about your personal statement for your uni application through the summer and aim to have a good draft by the time the course starts. Also, UKCAT. I'm booking mine on Thursday (if RBS put my wages in my bank) and I think it's about a 6 week wait. Book it early to pay the smaller fee. If you need a hand with your personal statement give me a PM. I got a good template sent to me from a website called doceatdoc.com that I could forward to you. That applies to anyone here.
