Nothing in depth or exceptional, I'm afraid. Just the usual volunteer / charity stuff. It's been quite hard to set up anything as I'm in the middle of selling/moving house. Hopefully I'll get a chance to add more whilst on the course...

Yeah Definately I'm in the same position I've been doing charity work & I'm waiting to hear back from stepping hill as it rakes at least 4 weks before you start so I suggest putting your application in right now as they do take a while with crb checks & references & so on...

I was just wondering if people would like me to set up an unofficial Manchester access course forum... Given that we will probably only be in college two and a half days in the week it might help us to keep in contact / help each other out. Particularly in the holiday times. I'm sure they'll be plenty of time in the coming months where I could use an encouraging word or two! It'd probably be a lot easier than using Facebook.

Obviously there is nothing on there at the moment... but hopefully that will change. Please let me know what you think and if there is anything I should change.

Yeah thumbs up from me , I've already set up an account that is 'Pending Approval' from a staff member? Is that you pacific961? lol...Only kidding great idea..this forum helped me get through the nerves & anxiety of the lengthy admission for this course...in which case, I'd definitely need another forum to get through the actual course!!
