ACCESS to medicine. Manchester College. 2012 entry...

Last year there was 30 places available and 780 applicants. Ther's no hope for me then

I went for my assessment and interview at the start of June and haven't heard anything yet. Waiting for a letter to come through the door....

I also applied for Science and Engineering at Newcastle college, which Newcastle uni accept as your sciences for the Medicine degree, but it didn't seem as structured as Manchester.

I though the access program wasn't accepted by universities for graduates? Isn't that what the foundation, i.e. 6 year, courses are for?

It doesn't make any difference in my case to be honest - I applied last year and got through to interview stage with no sciences, I need the course to boost my application and get me more prepared for a medicine degree.

Hey guys just to let you know that currently for the a2m course - nobody has been notified as the decisions are goin to the panel next week and I believe we will find out the week after as this week there have been more interviews ... This wait is drving me mad!
