    Hi,

Sorry to hijack this thread but I am looking to apply for this next year as a route into medicine.

I was thinking if a 1 year foundation entry to science course would be a good way to get onto a course like this or would manchester reject this as its a science based course whereas their A2M course is meant for people with no related science qualifications.

Currently i only have gcses (10 - Science C/C, Maths B, English Lang. A, English Lit. B and the others all A*-C)

I could then use this year to can work experiece in the healthcare environment

    Thanks

Yeah I know they said you have to be 19 or over to me on the phone, so I'll explain everything to them, How was your interview? What kind of questions do you think they'll ask me? I'm slightly nervous. Don't know how to prepare ?

My interview was fine. It's not really a formal interview as such. Have you done the initial assessment? I did mine both on the same day and the interview consisted of sitting in front of the course leader and talking about the course, why I chose Manchester College, what have I done so far in my life and so on. He goes through your assessments and application form and talks through them and that's really it. It's short and informal and isn't really aimed at asking you questions so don't worry about it. You can't really prepapre for it unfortunately.

    Hi guys

Just to let you know, I've contacted the college who advised that everyone should receive notification of the outcome of their interview before the end of June...
