Finally heard back from Northenden. I've been invited for an interview and assessments on 7th June! Bit late seeing as I applied on 14th March, but it's better late than never as they say. Does anyone who has been through the process at Northenden have any tips for the pre-access stage?

I did my assessment at the beginning of April @ Nicholls. It was GCSE level Maths and English; for the mathes basic algebra, no trig some simple logs etc, the English was simple comprehension and to write a short essay. Good luck!

Sorry I said 5th, my interview is the 10th which is tomorrow, pretty excited now.

Need to get the suit ready and shoes buffed.

Hey Everyone,

Access to Med hopeful here... Just got a letter inviting me for interview so I'm very excited to say the least!

I'm a bit worried about the interview - I'm just not sure what they'll ask. Has anyone had an interview at Northenden yet? Do they ask you questions about medicine, like a Med School interview? Or is it quite informal?

Also, where has anyone found any information about the course syllabus and timetable? I know it'll cover mostly a-level stuff but it would be good to know what days/how many hours a day at college/key stages of tests etc... Do any current or ex-Access students know?
