Has anyone attended medlink 4 day Notts conference for those considering medicine?

    Hi

My son came home with a brochure from a company via School to attend a Medlink 4 day conference. The only thing is its on run up to A levels and I am not sure if its really necessary. He will get some work experience in a hospital without doing this but it sells the package well.

Anyone think it was outstandingly useful? Thank you.

    Hey!

I attended Medlink when I was in college and it was fun, motivating and interesting to meet other Medicine applicants from all over the country- but I do not think it was that useful. It is the work experience and voluntary work that show commitment.
