    Question Inr

    Hello my is Karen I take Coumadin and have dvt been on antibotics for 14 days my INR would not come I was taking on 10 to 12 everyday and had no problems. I got a infection in my lower leg the dr's have upped my coumadin level every day I am takin 25 right now and yesterday it moved to 1.8 they are looking for it to be 2,0 before i will be able to go home. My question is Ive been on antibotics for 14 days and the lovenox shot in the stomach for the 14 days will the antibolics interfear with the blood level to come up

    I think the best thing to do would be to contact your GP, this is a forum for medical school applicants looking for advice. No one here is allowed to give a medical opinion.
