Access course Manchester College

Anyone have a rough idea about which unis accept the Manchester College access course. I have emailed a few but am still waiting for a reply. I'm mainly interested in these:

Newcastle
Glasgow
Cardiff
Sheffield

I asked this question to one of the A2M course tutors last year, and he said previous students have had offers from:

Manchester
Liverpool/Lancaster
Keele
York/Hull
Newcastle/Durham
Cardiff (6 year only I think)
Aberdeen
Sheffield

To be honest, if you check the entry requirements on the different university sites, almost all list the Access to HE Diploma as an accepted qualification. The real question is how they compare the qualification to A Levels for scoring applications. The best thing to do is get a really good dialogue going between yourself and the admissions people at your chosen universities. Find out if they've taken Access students before, (from any of the courses as the qualification is the same) and try and get a feel for how good your chances will be.
