You sound like me, and open book is not as easy as it sounds. It's all about obtaining the right information in the time frame you have. Saying that, I would have told myself the same as you. Lol. Have you already applied to SD? Or are you going to be there tomorrow? X

Wow, are you two seriously worrying about your academics!! Hehe

You're both already on Access courses!! That's great!! You don't need a degree for the course so don't worry. But the both of you completely blow me out of a chance as I don't have any evidence of achieving at Level 3!!
You both will do great in terms of academics!! Let me know how you thought the information session went!!

Wow you got home late. I was back at 10. I found it really informative, although I knew most of what was said. I'm terrified about the pre access days if I get called in of course.

Were there lots of people there? On mine I think there must have been about 50?
Hopefully after yesterday more people will join this thread

I'd say 35-40 were there?...ish! Rose can probably help more

I'm not too worried, just trying to chill out about it and not get my hopes up/down as neither is productive, your experience sounds absolutely fantastic rose so I'm sure you'll get on!

Yeah I would say there was at least 40 there...I was surprised at how late some people were walking in. It started at 6, and some people were walking in at 7:15...lol.

yeah I was a bit..erm..about that! I got there about 2 hours early! But I went to the tesco nearby first and had a drink in costa.
Okay so CV is doneee, she said at least two references didn't she? But we could have more..? I think I'm going to go for three, one academic, one from a shadowing placement(if he will) and an ex employer/work colleague.
Starting to battle that personal statement now and write the covering letter then just a matter of completing the paper application form and hurrying along those references. hmm. Might have to travel 50 miles to pick up one by hand *just* to make sure it gets here in time! Without a doubt sending it recorded delivery, not going through all this just to lose it...

Whoa, walking in that late, blatantly missing most of the session!! Hmmm, around 40 people. It doesn't seem like there are a huge amount of people applying...
The personal statement I think was the most time consuming for me. I wrote so many drafts of it before I was satisfied.
Wow 50 miles for the reference!! If only they could see your dedication!! One of my references drove me crazy!! It took her a month to write it and she kept saying it would be 'done by the end of the week'. Yes I sent mine recorded too!! Make sure you keep copies of al your references and your application form.
