Thanks Ozyb
Thank you so much Ozyb, that was a real relief for me to hear from someone who went through same experience.I will start by attending the medical schools open days in London (as a mum of two children I can't study outside London)so I will do my research in London.
For the previous post from MARTIGAN he really made me laugh so from now on I will use my CAPITAL letters. and I will DIVIDE my writing into PARAGRAPHS.
Thanks again and good luck in your studies.

The assessment consists of two maths sections an english essay and a comprehension test. The maths starts of fairly easy but does get harder i think if you are working at a grade b or above in gcse maths you should be ok. The second maths test is applied maths to medicine, its important to read the questions and there are questions on drip rates etc... The english essay consists of writing about a topic which you are given while you are there. The comprehension test is just reading an article and responding to questions about the article. I hope that helps. Have you applied yet? Good luck

I got a B in Maths GCSE but I'm a bit rusty on a a few things so I'll go over those. How much algebra is in the test? This is the area I'm most worried about :/ I'm good at English so I'll be fine with those sections. Did you have an interview as well? Yeah I sent off my application a few days ago. Thanks for your help!

You get to speak to the course director at the end. They say it takes about two weeks to hear back and thats when you will be invited for interview. There was one simultanious equation in the maths test but it wasn't to difficult i was able to tell what x and y were just by looking at it. I know not everyone will be so lucky but it wasn't a particualy difficult one. I would say make sure you can convert fractions to decimals to percentages. Also make sure you can add up, subtract, times and divide and you will be fine. Good luck
