There are bits n bobs of support available through cowa. And plenty of people on the course take part time work, one worked in pizza express as a waitress, some worked in the hospital, i just stuck to pimping at the weekends.

COWA entry requirements
Im thinking of applying to COWA for their access to medicine course- however im slightly worried about my double science GCSE grades- taken back in 2001 when the subject didnt appeal to me- i recieved DD. COWA state a C grade must be achieved? Since then i went on to do A levels in Geography, Media and Food Technology and achieved AAB, I then read Geography at Loughborough university from 2003-2006 and recieved a high 2-1.
Basically, i wondered how much precedence COWA put on the GCSE grades?
n.b- my other GCSE results were all A*-C, with BB in English and C in Maths
Any help would be appreciated,
Many thanks.

Hi guys, I recieved an email with an interview date document, and also accomodation listing document, and a student guide document. However before I recieved the email, I recieved the following email:

I got that too. I assume its the college email scanning software, witholding the email that you recieved until it had scanned the attachements.

Yeah, I got that too. Wouldn't worry about it - it was in response to a query I sent which was later replied to, so I am assuming it is just a software glitch or an over-enthusiastic piece of anti-virus software as I didn't even include an attachment. Congratulations on the interview
