I don't know whether this is the correct thread for this question, but after doing medicine @ Uni, you can become a doctor which is obvious, but in terms of research careers, which ones are most common, and do you need training, etc?

Also, what research careers for medicine graduates are well paid, I am not just looking for gd money, but I enjoy science, and research, etc.

Any help?
