Serious advice needed for tomorrow.. :(

Hello,

I am a Wales candidate studying A-Levels in Sixth form. I have just started yr 12 about 3 weeks ago.

Basically i put down to take as maths, chemistry, biology and physics. I have to admit i did an extra A-Level because i thought i would be at a disadvantage compared with others who took 4 (if i only took 3). I want to study medicine and im finding all my as's except for physics ok. I'm really struggling with understanding physics and the workload i have is hurrendous.

I was just wondering whether or not i should drop it and just do 3 A-Levels. BTW i am also studying the welsh bacc so if i pass that that will also be an A at A-level. I am also thinking of dropping physics because i feel my revision will be spread out thinly and i won't get the grades i want.

Will i be a disadvantage applying for medicine compared to students who have 4 a-levels... Thanks in advance!!

drop physics, doing 4 a levels will not benefit you in terms of applying to medicine, so it's much better t ospend that time you would have spent studying for phyics on voluntary work/work experience since that will benefit you much more.

I was also wondering if i pass the welsh bacc... and i apply to a uni that want a minimum of 3.5 alevels. Can my welsh bacc replace the .5 of the alevel etc as it is the same as an A in Alevel 120 points...
